Your first day in Rome deserves a dinner to remember. Let yourself be tempted by some of the most delicious and traditional recipes of Roman cuisine in a historic restaurant in the heart of the Eternal City. You can try some traditional first courses, such as the famous carbonara and amatriciana, or second courses rich in flavor such as tripe with tomato or chicken with peppers.

Start the day off with a hotel breakfast in a truly Italian style: the intense taste of an espresso or the sweet foam of a hot cappuccino with a freshly baked croissant is the right way to start your second day in Rome.

Discover the ruins of the greatest civilization of the past capable of imposing its rule all over the Mediterranean. The city is mainly built with brick, a local handmade terracotta with a characteristic burnished red color, which is still reproduced according to tradition today. During the visit, you will be taken by the guide to discover the orange treasure of Umbria: the saffron of Città della Pieve. Delicate and with a unique flavor and scent, you will taste different types of saffron and you will have the possibility, if you wish, to have it shipped directly at home.

In the heart of the Umbrian Valley, a few kilometers from Perugia and Assisi, lies Foligno, an important economic and cultural center of the region.
The historic center is surrounded by the ancient medieval city-walls that can be traveled along the entire route. The visit to the Marmore Falls is an unforgettable stop for anyone who decides to visit the natural beauties of Umbria.
Immersed in the heart of the Valnerina, these waterfalls are among the highest in Europe with an overall height of 165 meters. Divided into three jumps, these waterfalls represent the highest artificial jump in the world. Not everyone knows that it is an artificial jump, built for the first time by the Romans and modified several times over the centuries.
Their mighty perpetual roar had been described over the centuries by illustrious eyes such as those of Pliny, Cicero, Galileo and William Turner.

An easy paved and flat path will lead you in front of the Marmore Falls until you reach Piazzale Byron, a privileged point to get to the Lower Belvedere, a place accessible to all and from which you can admire the waterfalls in the midst of their impetuous roar.
