Project Description

Royal Villa of Marlia

Just five kilometers from Lucca, a real hidden gem awaits you: the Royal Villa of Marlia, one of the most fascinating historic residences in Italy, included among the “Great Gardens of the World” with over 16 hectares of gardens to admire.

An accessible private van will drive you to this prestigious architectural and natural complex, between nature, history and culture. A perfect destination for an outdoor experience in Tuscany, a suggestive place to spend a pleasant day taking an authentic journey back in time.

This villa, protected by the walls and foliage of the centuries-old park, is an artistic and architectural masterpiece that hides surprises and promises emotions in every corner.

The park, embellished by the Viali delle Camellie, houses an important variety of precious gardens: from the Lemon Garden with the marble group of Leda and the Swan to the Spanish Garden in art deco. An engaging olfactory journey capturing the visitor with the unmissable scents found in every corner.

The villa has been an accessible place for years and has collaborated with Gritaccess project (Grand Itinéraire Tyrrhénien Accessible). Furthermore, the breadth of its spaces makes this villa not only accessible but also a pleasant experience with a local bilingual guide at your disposal for the entire period of your visit.

The guide will only be available in the period from May to October.
