Project Description

Roman Castles

Just outside the city of Rome, the thirteen towns of the Castelli Romani are unique holiday resorts dating back to the times of the Roman Empire. These towns were mainly founded by popes and patrician families and became summer residences for the Roman élites.
A personalized and completely accessible itinerary will lead you through a path to discover historical places, immersed in nature and traditional Roman cuisine.

You will leave in the morning from your hotel in our private and accessible, large and comfortable van equipped with an electric hydraulic platform that facilitates the ascent and descent for each stage of the tour.
The first stop will be the town of Frascati, where you will meet the private bilingual guide who will take you to the historic center, renowned both for the elegance of the Tuscolan Villas and for the local food and wine varieties.

The Castelli Romani are also the production area of numerous DOC wines, such as Colli Albani and Monte Compatri Colonna, wines that have been appreciated for millenniums, as evidenced by the writings of Ancient Rome writers such Martial and Pliny the Elder.
Visit a fully accessible winery in the Frascati DOC area and immerse yourself in the world of wine made up of traditions and ancient production secrets.
After the end tour of the cellar, you will continue with a tasting of the best wines to be paired with a brunch with typical local products such as porchetta, salami, and donuts cooked in a wood oven.
After the tasting, our van will drive you back to your hotel in Rome.
