Project Description

Rafting in Val di Fiemme
Val di Fiemme is a naturalistic paradise surrounded by amazing Dolomite peaks such as the Corno Bianco, which dominates the South Tyrolean canyon of the Bletterbach, the Latemar Group, with its incredible spiers and the Pale di San Martino, declared Natural Heritage of the Humanity by UNESCO. Also recognized as “The Valley of Harmony”, for its precious fir trees with which the soundboards of pianos and violins are made, once appreciated by Stradivari and today sought after by luthiers all over the world, in 2003 Fiemme was the first valley to eco-certify its forests. Since then, the valley has continued to design and promote environmental choices and eco-sustainable activities. One of these is rafting, a fun and at the same time adrenaline-pumping group sport, which everyone can practice in total safety, immersed in nature.

The rafting experience will take place in Cavalese in the province of Trento, where the waves of the Avisio stream descend from the Marmolada glacier for an unforgettable adventure in a breathtaking natural setting.
Each person will be provided with equipment for the descent: wetsuit and neoprene shoes, life jacket, water jacket and helmet. You will only need to bring a bathing suit and a towel.
The changing rooms with hot showers, a restaurant bar and a beautiful relaxation area with a pond will be at your complete disposal.
The experience lasts about three hours and consists of descending by rubber dinghy along the Avisio River in a distance of about 6 km.
Before departure, our qualified staff will explain the basic principles of rafting and paddling, as well as the main notions on safety in the river and the commands that the crew must perform.
The boat is equipped with special seats for anyone who wants to practice this sport, with a crescendo of adrenaline from peak to valley.
