Parmigiano Reggiano Experience

Parmigiano Reggiano is one of the undisputed symbols of the Made in Italy gastronomy, as well as a product that is appreciated and exported all over the world.

This experience will allow you to discover the magic of its production and the artistry of cheesemakers, capable of transforming milk into Parmigiano Reggiano. An accessible path designed ad hoc will allow you to learn about the history of local families who every day produce a unique and inimitable cheese, expression of the territory to which it is strongly linked.

Visiting a dairy is a real journey to discover Parmigiano Reggiano, which for almost a thousand years has been produced with only three natural ingredients: milk, salt and rennet. You will attend all stages of milk processing, from cooking to putting the curd in mold, up to salting. You will have the opportunity to see the maturing rooms, where the wheels rest and are treated daily and waiting for the twelfth month, when they will be evaluated by the experts to be branded and reach the right maturation ranging from 24 months upwards.

By the end of the visit to the dairy, you will take part in a tasting of different types of Parmesan to discover the differences between the different seasonings and the most correct combinations based on everyone’s own taste.
