Project Description
Diving in Lake Como
Nestled between the Orobie Prealps and renowned for its suggestive villages and splendid villas rich in art and history, Lake Como is an unmissable tourist destination. The deepest and most famous lake in Italy, Lake Como was the setting chosen by Alessandro Manzoni for his immortal novel “The Betrothed” and in 2014 it was listed as the most beautiful lake in the world by the newspaper The Huffington Post.
A reference point for many underwater sports enthusiasts, it offers numerous possibilities to those who want to practice diving, interested in the beautiful landscapes, the steep walls with particular stratifications and recesses, and for the fish fauna.
In Cernobbio, a renowned international tourist destination located on the western shore of the lake, you can participate in an exciting and totally accessible scuba diving experience.
This package will allow you to practice this magnificent sport in total freedom in a suggestive bay with depths of almost 90 meters.
The site includes two metal platforms where it is possible to carry out dives in total safety in a rocky area, accessible from the lake on specific boats, specially designed to support divers with motor disabilities in total safety. The backdrop houses the statue of the Madonna del Lago, a bronze bell and an immersed historical museum that recalls the historicity of the city of Cernobbio and the adjacent towns from 1800 to today.
