Project Description
Canoe, kayak and dragon boat in the Lake Castel Gandolfo
Sports activities have been taking place on the shores of Lake Castel Gandolfo and specifically in the training facility of the Italian Canoe-Kayak Federation, since it was built for the 1960 Olympics in Rome. Facilities are operational all year long in order to give anyone the opportunity to try aquatic sports in this lake.
The Lake Castel Gandolfo is located in the geographical area of the Castelli Romani, a few miles from Rome, and one of the most visited destinations by tourists who decide to stay few days in the capital of Italy. Easily reachable with a private transfer, this lake has been a summer destination for many years for several Popes, who spent time between nature and relaxation.
The canoes, kayaks, dragon boats and all the equipment present in the sports center are accessible, highly specialized and certified by the CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee). The bilingual instructors themselves are certified by the Italian Federation and will carry out a private lesson where you will experience an adventure among the naturalistic beauties of one of the most evocative lakes in Italy.
