Project Description

Art and Wine in the Langhe – Ceretto

Wine, good food, history, tradition and culture are the cornerstones of the Langhe area, which was awarded the title of World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2015. The Ceretto family wanted to give voice to all these aspects, starting with wine and then growing over the years through innovative and successful cultural and gastronomic initiatives. This is why a visit to the Ceretto winery and the places of this famous brand are much more than a new discovery: they are a real experience.

Located in San Cassiano in Alba, the Ceretto winery boasts countless merits and awards, suggestive works of art and modern architecture that have become a fixed stop for tourists visiting the Langhe. Those who have the pleasure of visiting the Monsordo Bernardina Estate will immediately find themselves immersed in the beating heart of the company: the barrel cellar, amidst brick vaults and iron gates. This is the heady entrance to the estate, where it is possible to taste local wines.

After crossing the space where the wine rests and ages, the visit takes you to the actual modern and hyper-technological headquarters. A hallmark of this winery is the “Acino”, the Italian word for grape, a futuristic architectural work that leaves you speechless while admiring it both from the outside and from the inside.
It is a light “capsule” in the shape of a grape, in fact, designed for special events and tastings. From the inside you can admire the boundless landscape of the Langhe, while from the outside, it is a spectacle especially at dusk, when it lights up internally with shades of various colors.
Here you have the opportunity to choose between four types of tastings: the Langhe wines, the Shades of Nebbiolo and the exclusive Cru tasting or Rarity ones.
