Project Description

Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast, nicknamed “La Divina”, is a stretch of coast just 50 kilometers long, famous for its small beaches and the pastel colors of its houses.

Similar to a balcony suspended between the cobalt blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the blue of the sky, it is also known as the land of lemons and the deepest and wildest Mediterranean scrub. It has been a “World Heritage Site” since 1997 and is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Italy mainly because of the unique shape of its many and diverse villages overlooking the sea.

An accessible private van will offer roundtrip transportation from your hotel located in Rome, Naples, and Sorrento or from the main stations/airports to Positano, a very famous tourist destination for its pebble beaches, narrow streets full of small shops of artisans and spots where you can enjoy moments of relaxation with a sea view.

Our bilingual guide, an expert of the place, will lead you through an accessible path designed ad hoc to allow you to enjoy the scents and landscapes of the Coast.

The tour will continue towards Amalfi, the second town on the itinerary, an evocative place known above all for the church of Sant’Andrea, a structure from the Arab-Norman era in the heart of the city. Tradition has it that in front of the famous striped Byzantine facades of the church, tourists can enjoy the view while sipping a delicious Italian freshly prepared espresso.

Lunch will take place in a restaurant in the city center, where you can taste the typical cuisine of the Amalfi Coast, mainly based on seafood. From shrimp to scorpion fish or pezzogne, passing through amberjacks, octopuses and blue fish.

In the afternoon, the private van will drive you towards Ravello, a tourist resort dominating the gulf from its 365 meters above sea level. This small hilltop village is daily visited above all for the extraordinary gardens standing on the cliffs and particularly for the breathtaking view from Villa Rufolo. The latter, dating back to the thirteenth-century and which can be visited from the inside, is the setting of incredible photos for its colors, shapes and landscapes.
